When i was 5, my grandpa would pick me up from kindergarten and would get me McDonald's. I remember i would always get a happy-meal a cheeseburger and a gogurt, then after that we would head home and he would sit on our couch playing modern warfare 2 while i ate my meal.

Steve was one of the most gentle men I have ever met. I can not remember him ever being angry. He had a great sense of humor and a quiet chuckle. How he loved Sandi. They were two sides of one soul. I remember silly times we three shared but mostly I recall the deep friendship and love for both of them. I turned to them on many occasions over years and they were always there to listen.

I had the honor of meeting Steve 2 yrs. ago when considering buying the property in front of his and Sandys. We bought and I started to build, immediately Steve said I want to help 😀.
Steve as a building inspector went out of his way to assist me in every way he could. We became friends quickly and rarely missed a day without Steve giving me a friendly wave of friendship as he passed by.
Thanks Steve - I'll miss you and your kindness
