OBITUARY
Nadine Mary Koch, loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother, was called home by our Savior December 7, 2024, due to a long illness after approximately 4 week stay at a Hospice care facility. She was 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon L. Koch, who now she will rejoin in heaven for eternity.
Nadine graduated from Fresno City College with an Associate of Science degree as an LVN nurse. She worked at Valley Children's Hospital for 27 years before she retired. She worked quite extensively in pediatrics premature ward. She loved working in that department. She loved to travel, work on crossword puzzles and knitting.
She was born in Fresno, California. Loved her grandchildren. She is survived by one child and family. Was a member of the Sacred Heart Church to which she was a devoted Roman Catholic. I remember going on many camping outings with my mother and father and sister. Sometimes other relatives would go with us. Always had a good time with my parents and other relatives. She went to Europe with our Son (her first grandchild) Ian with her. Ian was fascinated with airplanes. After getting back from their trip my mom some how got Ian to go up into the cockpit of a 747 and seat in the pilots seat! I don't know how she did it, but that was Nadine! Christmas as a kid was always a joy. My sister and I would always con our mother into letting us open presents on Christmas Eve. Nadine had a soft spot which we siblings knew how to work it.
She will always be remembered and never forgotten. She is with her husband now and resting in peace with him. After 91 years she deserves it.

FOOTPRINTS
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking
Along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
From each scene,
He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonged to him,
And the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life
Flashed before him,
He looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times
Along the path of his life
There was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the
Very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him
And he questioned the Lord about it.
“Lord, you said
That once I decided to follow you,
You’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during
The most troublesome times in my life,
There is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why
When I needed you most
You would leave me.”
The Lord replied,
“My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
When you see only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
“May God touch you
with His healing hand
and give you the peace and comfort
you need to get through.”
Anon.
