I had the very good fortune to work with Karen over many years through our work together in the Anytime Anywhere Learning Foundation. She was such a joy to work with. Nothing was ever to hard, and if there was ever some one who live by the motto "if you want something done, find a busy person"...that was Karen. She was always talking about her family and what they were doing, and how proud she was of them
I'm sorry I have only just found about about her passing, but I wanted to extend my deepest thoughts and prayers to her family.
It is so sad to think of her passing, when she still had so much energy and love. She was an amazing person.

I and my daughters are very sad to hear of Karen`s untimely death. We were all privileged to know and work with her. When I think of her I want to just say
"Well done, good and faithful servant". She was a gift to us all. You are all a testament to her values.

I was so privileged to know and work with Karen. She was a wonderful person and a knowledgeable and committed educator. Her passion for English Learners goes unmatched and her kindness to all will be remembered.

George and I are heartbroken for all of the Ward family, but we are happy Doug and Karen are together. We loved them dearly.

Sending my condolences to the family and friends. Mrs. Ward was my 10th grade English teacher and she had such a positive impact in my life. I now work in education and Mrs. Ward was part of that influence.
