Down life's path we travel,

SAFELY  HOME

OBITUARY

On Monday, June 3, 2019, Yvonne Velma Haar loving wife and mother of two daughters, passed away at the age of 90. Yvonne was born in Los Angeles on October 4, 1928 to Bryan and Louise Bishop. Shortly after graduation from Roosevelt High School, Fresno, California in 1946 she married William S Haar who had just been discharged from the Navy. They raised two daughters, Karen and Trudi. Yvonne enjoyed the closeness of their large families, being with friends and cooking. Bill and Yvonne even owned and operated a restaurant for several years, Der Family Beerock Haus. They lived in Los Osos for a dozen years and greatly enjoyed being near the ocean. Bill and Yvonne were devoted to their faith. Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years Bill. She is survived by her daughters Karen (and Robert ) Jones, and Trudi Dayton; grandchildren, Robert (and Jennifer) Jones, Michele (and Brian) Dunkel, and Kevin (and Suzy) Dayton; great-grandchildren, Kevin Dayton, Emily Dayton, and Arya Dunkel; several sister-in laws, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2019 at Wildrose Chapel & Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
