I wish I had known that grandpa passed as I would have liked to have been at the funeral but he is also survived by this side of the family as well. Lots of years selling oranges, raising birds and playing at the Oakland buildings. He and Grandma Jerry always made the world so much more interesting to live in and now she is welcoming him home. I have an amazing nephew that will get to hear all the silly stories of grandma and grandpa and carry the Atkin name forward.
