“Whenever the cold hand
of death strikes,
there shines through
the gloom and the darkness
of that hour
the triumphant figure
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He, the Son of God
who by His
matchless and eternal power
overcame death.
He is the Redeemer of the world.
He gave His life for each of us.
He took it up again
and became the firstfruits
of them that slept.
He is our comfort,
our only true comfort,
when the dark shroud
of earthly night closes about us
as the spirit departs the human form.
There stands Jesus the Christ,
the King of glory,
the unblemished Messiah,
the Lord Emmanuel.”

OBITUARY
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother Marion Bushman passed away October 15, 2016 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah. His legacy of diligence, honor and faithfulness is cherished.
Born August 29, 1952 to Martin Degen Bushman, Jr. and Lucile (Ray) Bushman in McNary, Apache, Arizona. He is the 4th in line of 8 children. Married Sarah Maria Luttmer, May 11, 1982 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They are the parents of 6 children. He loves the gospel and it was demonstrated by many actions. One that stood out was his love of missionary work! He did not cease in the cause and has been the help to many conversions and reactivations. Most importantly to him was and is the conversion of his children. When he was 19 he served a mission to the Minnesota Manitoba Mission. His heart was in farming and he loved the life and dreamed of working side by side with his children in it. He was an entrepreneur selling many LDS products (Temple Ring, key rings, and pocket cards). He truly did teach us the value of work and that of having close family ties. He was refined through his trials, but truly has a tender and loving heart. He loves to serve and give. Christmas was always anticipated by him and he is the truest kid of us all. He was the one not able to sleep Christmas Eve, and would wake us up excited to see our joy in the presents given by him. Preceded in death by his father Martin Degen Bushman Jr., his brothers Milo Kent, Wallace Ray, and Kenneth Lee Bushman. Survived by his wife Sarah Maria (Luttmer) Bushman; his children Joseph Nathaniel, Rachel Christine (husband Brandon Wolther), Lamont Daniel, Keith Martin (wife Brittany Roberg), Forrest Marion, and Ruth Ilene Bushman. As well as the proud grandparents of 6 beautiful grandchildren: Jacob Wolther, Nathan Wolther, Kaitlyn Wolther, Trent Wolther, Kristy Wolther, and Anna Bushman; his mother Lucile (Ray) Bushman; sister Marlue (Bushman) Perkins; brothers Earl Leon Bushman, Max Dale Bushman, and Ronald Kay Bushman.
