OBITUARY

On Monday, September 19, 2016, Herman A. Stidham, passed away and was reunited with the love of his life Myrla. He was born on September 1, 1931, in Leakey, Texas, and raised in Prescott, Arizona. After his service in the United States Army, he met Myrla Petty. They were married on September 18, 1953, in Fresno, California. He was an electrician for the City of Fresno for more than 20 years, and in 1986 started Mid-Valley Electric. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Clovis Rotary. Herman was generous, and always ready with an easy grin, and a potentially off color joke. He loved meat and potatoes, Merle Haggard, The Fresno Bee crossword puzzle, and above all, his family. He was preceded in death by his son Terry. He leaves behind a son, Gary Stidham and wife Joneen; daughter, Julie Darchuck and husband Dan, of Clovis, California; daughter-in-law, Judy Stidham, of Clovis, California; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1880 Gettysburg Ave., Fresno, California, on Monday, September 26, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
